Portraiture can be challenging, particularly when I'm presented with a photograph, often unclear, and the commissioner wants a direct copy without understanding the purpose of portraiture which ideally brings interpretation.  I prefer to take photographs of the subject myself as I know the angles and lighting which will most do justice to the final product.CLICK ON AN IMAGE, BELOW, TO ENLARGE
